Introducing Andy

Andy has over 30 years experience working with children and in Social Care - primarily within Youth Services. He has developed and managed various evening / school holiday youth services and also has a proven and successful history in 1-2-1 support.

Andy has worked in partnership with various agencies, including Social Care, Local Authorities, Community Departments, Youth Offending Teams, schools and the wider community.

  • Has worked with a wide range of partners from Local Authorities to Youth Offending Teams
  • Substantial 1-2-1 support expertise

Introducing Kay

Kay is passionate about keeping children and young people safe and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes. Her beliefs are that young people need stability and security and their home is central to this. This is what has led Kay to working in Youth Hubz, supporting young people to develop their independent living skills - in a warm, safe and nurturing environment.

Kay has always taken pride in building trusted relationships with statutory partners; coming together for the common goal to protect children and young people.


  • Service Manager in Youth & Community Work since 2000 & a qualified Social Worker since 2006
  • 20 years post qualifying experience including working in one of the largest national charities
  • Specialist in supporting young people at risk or abused through child sexual exploitation
  • Received a commendation from CSE & Missing subgroup for her commitment and dedication to supporting children & young people in Bradford

Introducing Alice

Alice has recently graduated from Leeds Beckett Univeristy with a degree in Youth Work & Community Development. She is a qualified youth worker and has experience working in a high school helping young people with behavioural and emotional needs.


  • Has helped run a variety of youth clubs.
  • Has worked as a Children’s Rights Advocate being the voice for many vulnerable children on child protection plans and looked-after children.
